Police have been dealing with large crowds gathering in Kelvingrove Park on Wednesday 17 March.

No fines were handed out and no arrests were made.

It comes just days after a relaxation of rules on meeting outdoors in Scotland.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.30pm on Wednesday, 17 March, 2021, police received a report of a large crowd gathering within Kelvingrove Park.

"Officers are in attendance and are engaging with the members of the public.

"Those involved are heeding the police’s advice and dispersing.

"There have been no arrests and no-one has been issued with a fixed penalty notice. Officers will continue to patrol the area."
