Police continue hunt for missing 21 year old three weeks on

Thomas Keenan was in a distressed state when he was last seen in Glasgow on the 21st of November.

Thomas Keenan disappeared in a distressed state at the Esso Service Station at 900 Maryhill Road at around 5.55am on Tuesday, November 21.

The 21 year old, from Kelvinside Avenue in Maryhill was last seen on CCTV around 0550hrs on Tuesday 21 November 2017 in the Esso Service Station at 900 Maryhill Road, Glasgow.

He's said to be suffering from personal issues and CCTV images show him wandering around the service station before running off.

He is described as white, around 5ft 11 inches in height and of slim build with brown wavy hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a pair of dark shorts with the Nike logo on the left leg, a red t-shirt with a black motif on the front, and white and black trainers.

Chief Inspector Vicky Little of Maryhill Police Office said: “Extensive searches and enquiries are continuing to trace Thomas. Officers have been assisted by a number of specialist resources including the police helicopter, dog unit and specialist search advisors. Posters and leaflets have also been distributed in the local area.

“Unfortunately despite this, and a number of appeals for information, there have been no further sightings of Thomas.

“We understand that Thomas is suffering from some personal issues and when he was last seen he appeared to be in a very confused state.

His family are absolutely devastated by his disappearance and are extremely concerned for his safety and wellbeing. The family have also been sharing photographs and posters asking for people with any information to get in touch, they just want to know he is safe.”

A further appeal was also issued to anyone with a dash cam in their vehicle who would have been driving in the area of Queen Margaret Drive and Bilsland Drive, Glasgow between 0400hrs and 0700hrs on the same date.

“If anyone has information that will help us find Thomas, please get in touch. Any detail, no matter how insignificant it may seem to you, could prove useful in our ongoing efforts to trace Thomas.”
