Police arrest four more men in Scottish Cup Final disorder inquiry
The men arrested range in age from 23 to 50
Four men have been arrested in the latest police operation centred on disorder at the Scottish Cup final, taking the total number of arrests to 38.
Officers swooped on a number of addresses in the Edinburgh, Renfrewshire and Glasgow areas on Thursday.
Police Scotland said four men - aged 23, 24, 46 and 50 - have been arrested for alleged assaults and disorder. They were being held in custody and were expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Hibernian supporters flooded the Hampden pitch after the Edinburgh side's dramatic 3-2 win over Rangers, with fans of the Ibrox team also making it past stewards and onto the turf before mounted officers restored order.
Those arrested following the match in Glasgow on Saturday May 21 previously varied in age from 17 to 50.
Detective Superintendent Kenny Graham, the officer leading the police probe, said: This investigation is extensive and involves a significant number of people.
My officers remain committed to identifying and arresting those involved in the violence and disorder that occurred on May 21.
As our investigation progresses, there will be further arrests and continued police action to track down those responsible.
