Police appeal after teenager attacked in Helensburgh
The 17-year-old sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment
Officers are appealing for information following a serious assault in Helensburgh.
The incident happened around 10.50pm on Saturday, 16 September, 2023, on West Princes Street in the town near the train station.
A 17-year-old male youth sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital for treatment.
Two male youths, one aged 16 and one aged 17, were arrested and charged in connection and appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 18 September, 2023.
Detective Constable Calum Hall said: “This was a serious assault and our enquires are continuing. There were a lot of people around at the time of the incident and we are keen to speak to anyone who has not already been in touch with officers.
