Police appeal after public indecency on Glasgow bus

Detectives have released images of a man they wish to trace in connection with an incident on board a bus travelling through Glasgow on Tuesday 16th May 2017.

Detectives have released images of a man they wish to trace in connection with an incident on board a bus travelling through Glasgow on Tuesday 16th May 2017.

The incident, involving public indecency, occurred on board a number two First Bus travelling between the Trongate and Baillieston between 2010 hours and 2035 hours.

The man boarded the bus at the Trongate and alighted at Caledonia Road, Baillieston.

Officers have released a CCTV image of the man as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Detective Constable Stuart Esplin from the Greater Glasgow Public Protection Unit based at London Road Police Station said:

"I would appeal to the man in the image, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward as it is important we speak to him as part of our investigation.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact the Greater Glasgow Public Protection Unit based at London Road Police Station via 101 and quote incident number 3658 of the 16th May 2017. Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence."
