Police appeal after man fires air gun at house in Stirling
A man fired an air gun at a house in Stirling in an early-morning attack, police have said.
The incident happened at 6.20am on Friday on St Valery Drive, with the man standing outside before pointing an air weapon at the building.
Police say `a number of air pellets were discharged' and a window was damaged.
The man was challenged by a member of the public but fired further pellets at the house before walking towards Cultenhove Road.
The attacker is described as in his early to mid 30s, of medium build with short dark hair and glasses.
He was wearing a dark North Face jacket, carried a case and spoke with a local accent. He had slurred speech.
Inspector Jim Young said: `This is an extremely unusual incident and I'm keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the man beforehand or afterwards.
`Fortunately no-one was injured and only very slight damage was caused, but we are treating the matter very seriously and need to identify this man as quickly as possible.'
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101.
