Police appeal for witnesses of a Helensburgh flasher

Helensburgh police are looking for information after a man exposed himself in the town.

The incident happened between 8:20pm and 8:30pm on Thursday 17th December, when a 36-year-old woman was in Townhead Road.

A white man with a local accent flashed her and made a comment, before running off.

He's said to be around 5ft. 10inches in height, of slim build, dark brown hair, and patchy facial hair.

He was wearing a navy blue jacket with a white hooded top underneath.

Officers are reveiwing CCTV footage of the incident.

Detective Constable David Jamieson said: "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact us.

"Perhaps you saw the man when he was running off after the incident.

"I would also ask motorists with dashcams who were in the area to check their dash cams as they may have captured images which could assist our investigation."

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3263 of 17 December 2020.
