Police appeal for information after crash on B822 Kippen roundabout

Police are appealing for information after a crash on the B822 at the Kippen roundabout in Stirling.

A cyclist was seriously injured in the incident, which happened around 5.05pm on Tuesday, 27 September.

It involved a black Ford Ranger towing a silver Ifor Williams trailer which failed to stop.

The cyclist, a 45-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.

Sergeant Jack Swindells, from Forth Valley’s Road Policing Unit, said:

“Our enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances of what happened and we are keen to speak to anyone who has information that could help with our investigation.

“The black Ford Ranger and trailer were in the area at the time of the collision and we are keen to speak with the driver.

“We are asking anyone who saw the vehicle either before or after the crash to get in touch. Likewise, anyone with dash-cam that could assist should contact us.”
