Police appeal for witnesses after car fire attack in Paisley
Officers thankful no-one was injured by late-night blaze
Police are appealing for information after a car was set on fire in Paisley last night
It happened just after midnight when officers received a report of a car ablaze on Anchor Crescent.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and nobody was hurt as a result.
Officers are treating it as deliberate and are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch.
The male suspect is described as approximately 5ft 7in in height and was wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask.
Detective Constable James Campbell said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this completely reckless act.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or with any information which may assist enquiries to get in touch.”
