Police appeal after man injured in serious Renfrew assault
The incident happened yesterday evening in the Ard Road area
A man is recovering after a serious assault in Renfrew.
The 35 year old was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment after police were called to reports of an injury around 8.20pm on Friday August 11.
The incident took place on Ard Road, and officers are keen to trace a man seen in the area at the time.
He is described as white, 30-40 years old, around 6ft tall and either bald or with light blonde hair. He was wearing a navy and grey tracksuit top.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or with dashcam or private CCTV footage from the time, to come forward.
