Knightswood man jailed for having more than 3,000 indecent images

A 22-year old Knightswood man has been jailed for 32 months after police found him with more than 3,000 indecent images.
Darren Hamilton had photos of children as young as six months old stored on his smartphone.
He was staying with his gran and aunt in Knightswood when police arrived at the home in March last year. Hamilton tried to hide the device from the police in a pile of bathroom towels.
The pervert appeared in Glasgow Sheriff Court today and pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
