A pensioner's sustained a head injury while travelling on a bus in Paisley.

A car - believed to be a grey coloured Vauxhall Vectra Estate - pulled out in front of the vehicle as it was going along the A741 Renfrew Road yesterday afternoon.

That caused the driver to brake suddenly and the 78 year old woman was thrown from her seat and hurt

Enquiries are underway to trace the driver of the Vauxhall Vectra. The road was extremely busy at the time of the incident and officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them, in particular, anyone with dash cam footage, as it may have captured details which could assist the inquiry.

Anyone with information is asked to call Road Policing Officers at Helen Street Police Station via 101.
