Police appeal after pensioner knocked down on Ingram Street

The 82-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries

Officers are appealing for information following a crash on Ingram Street, Glasgow on Wednesday, 22 November, 2023.

Around 12.20pm we were called to a report of a collision involving a car, a dark blue Mercedes E class, and a pedestrian.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, an 82-year-old woman, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

The road was closed until around 2pm.

Road Policing Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Enquiries into the circumstances of this collision are ongoing, and I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the crash to please contact us.

"I would also appeal to anyone with dash-cams or home recording equipment to check their footage for anything that could assist us.

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1392 of 22 November.
