84 year William Todd was getting off a number 26 bus on Goslpie Street at around 1730 hrs on Saturday when he was assaulted.

He is described as white, between 35 and 40 years old, with short dark hair and glasses. He was wearing a brown jacket, dark trousers, and was carrying shopping bags.

“I would also like to speak to the members of the public who went to the victim’s aid as they may have information that could assist with our enquiries.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Govan CID on 101. Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.”
