A pedestrian's been seriously hurt in a road crash in Glasgow
It happened on Great Western Road, around 5.30pm yesterday
Police in Glasgow are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the A82, Great Western Road.
The incident happened around 5.30pm on Friday, 6 January, 2023, and involved a pedestrian and a black Nissan Micra car next to a bus stop near Keal Avenue.
Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 42-year-old man, sustained a serious head injury and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
The road was closed and re-opened around 10.20pm.
Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “We believe the injured man may have been on a bus and just alighted when the incident happened. We are keen to speak to anyone on the bus as they may have important information that could help with our enquiries.
“We would also like to speak to anyone else who was in the area and may have seen what happened, including road users with dash-cam footage that might help our investigation.”
