Pedestrian seriously injured after two-car crash in Cathcart

A man is seriously injured after two cars crashed in Cathcart, with one of them hitting him.

It happened at Holmhead Crescent, Cathcart, at 5.05pm on Wednesday.

A black Lexus collided with a grey Audi, which was knocked on to the pavement and hit the man, 58, who was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The 64-year-old driver of the Audi suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Lexus was uninjured.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch with information or dash cam footage.

They are asked to speak to any officer or contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2461 of Wednesday, January 22.
