Police appeal after pedestrian knocked down in Glasgow

Road policing officers in Glasgow are appealing for information following a crash involving a pedestrian.

Around 1.45pm on Thursday, 14 March, 2024, emergency services attended Lincoln Avenue in the city following the crash involving a 71-year-old female pedestrian and a silver Ford C-Max.

The woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was uninjured.

Police Sergeant Robert Mackie of the Road Policing Unit said: “I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.

“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1680 of 14 March, 2024.”
