Pedestrian critically injured in collision with double decker bus
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a double decker bus in Glasgow.
Police said the 34-year-old man was struck after walking off a footpath and onto Lochend Road just after midnight.
The bus was being driven south on the road at the time.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is said to be in a critical condition.
No one else was injured in the accident.
Police Scotland Sergeant Andy Shearer, of the divisional road policing unit at Glasgow, said: 'Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to get in touch.'
