A pensioner has been convicted of killing a Paisley mum four years ago and disposing of her body.
46 year-old Patricia Henry disappeared in November 2017, shortly after moving to Girvan.
The following year police announced they believed she had come to serious harm and a full investigation was launched.
In July 2019, her former neighbour and friend 71 year-old George Metcalff was arrested and charged with her murder, rape and disposing of her body by means unknown.
He is also accused of sexually assaulting her while she was sleeping in December 2014 and choking her in October 2017.
Other charges against him dated back to June 1971.
This included the alleged rape of a woman at the Gleniffer Braes, in Paisley, and in Kilbarchan.
Metcalff was alleged to have carried out the same crime on another woman between October 1989 and December 2004 and was accused of physical assaults on the other two women.
Today at the High Court in Glasgow a jury unanimously found him guilty of all charges.
He'll be sentenced at a later date.
