Play park in Renfrew hit with graffiti and fire damage
It's after a bin close to Robertson Park was set alight
A play area in Renfrew has suffered fire damage and has been targeted by vandals.
Robertson Play Park has been cordoned off after a bin was reportedly deliberately set on fire next to the wooden castle.
The site has also been sprayed with yellow graffiti.
Gemma Williams is the manager of Insafe Hands Childcare and told Clyde News: "A big section of it was set on fire and is now blackened with smoke damage.
"I was extremely disappointed to see this because our nursery children use the park on a daily basis and it is the only thing they have at the moment due to all the restrictions.
"For people to cause this damage has upset us and the children are sad that they can't access this part of the park at the moment."
