A Paisley man is behind bars after admitting to sharing indecent images of children online.
A Paisley man is behind bars after admitting to sharing indecent images of children online.
Craig Wood was caught last February when police raised his home and seized his computers.
The 52 year-old's been jailed for three years and placed on the sex offenders register.
Detective Inspector Tom Carty from the Public Protection Unit, based in Paisley said:
“We are committed to protecting vulnerable people. Those who wish to exploit young people for their own gratification will find themselves being investigated, arrested and in court.
“No matter how clever you think you are and what precautions you think you have taken to avoid detection, we will work together with our partners to take action on those who are involved in these abhorrent crimes. Our message is clear – if you are involved in any way in such depraved activities, then we will track you down. You cannot hide behind a computer.”
