Man seriously injured after murder bid in Paisley
Police are hunting three men after the attack
A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Paisley last night.
The 34-year-old was attacked by three men outside the Jet garage on Gleniffer Road, around 8:20pm.
He is said to be in a serious condition.
Police have released a description of the men they want to speak to in connection.
The first is described as of medium build. He was wearing a dark-coloured top and baseball cap with light-coloured trousers and black trainers.
The second suspect is also of medium build. He was wearing a black tracksuit with white lines down the sides of the arms and legs. He wore Nike trainers.
The third suspect is described as of medium build and he was wearing a light grey tracksuit.
Detective Inspector Ian Ross said: “Our enquiries are continuing in the area and we are gathering CCTV footage from in and around the local area to gather more information on the three men responsible for this attempted murder.
“This is a busy area and I would urge anyone who witnessed this attack who has not yet spoken to police to please contact us. If anyone has any information that will help our ongoing investigation contact officers through 101 with reference number 3174 of 23 March.
