Who's the woman on the Paisley bus?

CCTV images have been released of a woman who can help in the investigation into an assault on a bus.

Police investigating an alleged assault on a woman on board a bus in Paisley have released an image of another woman they believe can help in their investigation.

At around 6:50pm on Monday 25th June 2018, a woman climbed aboard the McGills bus on Smithhills Street.

As she made her way to sit down she was verbally abused by another passenger before being assaulted.

The woman in the images who can help is being described as small, heavier build, with shoulder length blonde hair and black glasses. She was wearing a grey vest top, three-quarter length blue jeans and white trainers.

Constable Allan Boyle of Paisley Police Station said: "This was a disgraceful assault on a woman and I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed what happened, or recognises the women we wish to speak with, to please get in touch.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Paisley Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3846 of Monday 25 June 2018.
