Police appeal for recordings after late night attack on two men in Paisley

Police in Paisley are hunting an attacker who injured two men in a frightening late night incident.

It happened on Tannahill Road around 10.50pm on Thursday, 16th September when an unidentified man has confronted and assaulted two men, aged 26 and 18 before running away.

The victims were unable to give police a description of the man who attacked them.

Detective Constable Robert Young of Paisley CID said: “This would have been a frightening experience for everyone involved.

CCTV and dashcam appeal

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to identify the persons responsible, including reviewing CCTV from the area.

“Anyone who believed they may have information which could help to identify the person involved or who was in the area at the time of the assault is urged to contact police as soon as they can.

“I would also encourage anyone who may have been driving in the area and recording via a dashcam device to check your systems for relevant footage.”
