Two canoeists have been taken to hospital after getting into difficulty in a Highland river.
Emergency services were called to the River Garry, near the village of Invergarry, south of Loch Ness, at around 12.30pm.
Police, ambulance, fire crews, the coastguard and the Royal Navy search and rescue helicopter were all involved in the operation to help the pair, who both ended up in the water after falling from their canoe.
The ambulance service confirmed two casualties were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said fire crews were involved in helping to locate the canoeists after the alert was raised.
Police Scotland confirmed one of the men had managed to guide himself to the shore, while the other was carried further downstream before being airlifted to safety by the helicopter.
