Pair charged in connection with Lennoxtown assault

A man and woman have appeared in court after a man was seriously injured in a house in East Dunbartonshire.

Police were called to a property on Bencloich Place, Lennoxtown at around 1pm on Saturday - a 30 year old man was taken to the Queen ELizabeth University Hospital.

A 34-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
