Ospreys Nesting at T In The Park Site "Should Not Affect" Festival

Clyde News can reveal bosses at a softball stadium in America say T in the Park's new home shouldn't affect Ospreys nesting at the site. Ospreys are nesting in the 72 acre Bryant Parks stadium in Albany. Sports Coordinator Bruce Edwards has worked there for 11years, he has built a special nesting platform for the birds at the field and says they have adapted to the new environment. He claims they've hatched chicks despite the noise of large crowds and bright lights, and return year, after year - he's now put in a submission to Perth and Kinross Council backing the festivals planning application. T in the Park bosses face a strict criteria from the RSPB - who say the festival can only go ahead if infrastructure, like the Slam Tent, and funfair are kept 500 metres away from the nest at the Strathallan Castle site.
