One man dead in Glasgow crash

One man has been killed in a crash in Glasgow's west end.

Roads remain closed near the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Glasgow that has left one man dead. It happened on Balshagray Avenue at 1.50pm on Tuesday and emergency services remained at the scene for several hours.

Balshagray Avenue at Victoria Park Gardens South, along with Victoria Park Drive northbound from the Clyde Tunnel, are closed tonight with drivers being asked to find alternative routes.

In a statement released on social media, Police Scotland said: "A man has died following a crash on Balshagray Avenue, Glasgow.

"It happened at 1.50pm today. Balshagray Avenue at Victoria Park Gardens South, along with Victoria Park Drive northbound from the Clyde Tunnel remains closed.

"Please avoid the area and use an alternative route."
