Officers search for missing Ayrshire man

Officers have started a search for a missing man from Ayrshire.

Thirty-year-old Sean Caldwell was last seen yesterday around 2.45pm at Crosshouse Hospital on Kilmarnock Road.

He is described as around 6 ft. 5 inches in height, with a medium build, he has blue eyes and brown hair. He also has facial hair.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a salmon pink football top with a dark coloured hooded top and navy-blue shorts.

Officers have been checking any relevant CCTV from the surrounding area for any additional information on where Sean may have gone.

He is known to visit the Ayrshire and Paisley areas.

Sergeant Claire Walker said: “There are concerns that Sean may require medical attention and we are concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have seen Sean or who has any information as to his whereabouts to get in touch with us.

"It’s important we confirm he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2084.
