Both men had their hoods up and were wearing face masks in an effort to conceal their identity.

Officers are continuing to carry out door-to-door enquiries and additional patrols will be in the area.

Detective Constable Fraser McGill said: “I would like to ask anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact us. In particular, motorists or taxi drivers with dash cam equipment as they may have captured images which could assist our ongoing enquiries.”
