Detectives are investigating a suspicious fire in Paisley which broke out in the early hours of this morning.
It happened in the cellar within one of the properties on Wardrop Street around around 3.30am.
A property was evacuated as a precaution, but there are no reports of any injuries.
Detective Constable Ryan McGuire of CID said: “We are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area in the early hours of this morning to come forward.
“We are carrying out door to door enquiries and reviewing CCTV in an effort to find out who was responsible.”
