Man slashed in Nitshill

A man has been slashed across the face Nitshill.
The 34-year-old was walking with two friends on Weensmoor Road around 5.45pm on Thursday 27th September when they were confronted by two men.
Emergency services attended and the injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
There is currently no information on the suspects and officers are checking CCTV and carrying out door-to-door enquiries.
Detective Constable Mark Hendry said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident, perhaps people on their way home from work or for shopping, who may have seen something which didn’t seem relevant at the time but now that a crime has taken place, what you saw may be relevant so please do pass it on.”
