New route announced for Great Women's 10k in Glasgow

A new route has been revealed for the Great Women's 10k in Glasgow this June.

Organisers of the Great Women's 10k have announced a complete revamp of the route.

The event takes place in Glasgow on June 5th with thousands of women set to take part.

For the first time, it will both start and finish in the same place - Kelvingrove Park.

Those taking part will then make their way through the west end, running past Glasgow University and on to the Clyde Side past the Hydro.

The route takes you across to the south side and Pacific Quay before brining you across the Clyde Arc bridge and on the to the home straight.
