New look Great Women’s 10k gets underway

It’ll take in the west of the city, starting and finishing in the same place - Kelvingrove Park.

Thousands of runners are gearing up to take part in the Great Women’s 10k.

The event takes place in Glasgow on June 5th and features a complete revamp of the route.

For the first time, it will both start and finish in the same place - Kelvingrove Park.

Those taking part will then make their way through the west end, running past Glasgow University and on to the Clyde Side past the Hydro.

The route takes you across to the south side and Pacific Quay before brining you across the Clyde Arc bridge and on the to the home straight.
