Police Scotland can confirm that the body found within a flat in Kenmure Street, Pollokshields on Thursday 14th July 2016 is that of Mr Gordon Bolam, aged 68. Mr Bolam’s relatives have been informed. Following a post mortem examination, police launched a murder inquiry and officers are continuing with forensic examination of the flat as well as interviews of associates to establish the circumstances of how Mr Bolam died. Detective Chief Inspector Allan Burton said: “It is crucial that we speak to everyone who knew Gordon, who saw or has spoken to him within the last 3 weeks." "Someone out there knows who did this and they need to come forward. Gordon was last seen on the afternoon of the 27th June 2016, at the Adelphi centre in the Gorbals. It is important that we establish his movements and people he met after that. "Gordon was an elderly gentleman who kept himself to himself and his family deserve justice, so if you have any information that will help piece together his movements or identify those responsible, I need to hear from you."
