A murder inquiry is underway following the death of a 25 year old woman in Glasgow yesterday

A murder inquiry is underway following the death of a 25 year old woman in Glasgow on Wednesday 30 December 2015. Police officers attended at a flat in Minto Street, Govan, yesterday afternoon, and discovered the body of Katie Rourke, from Broughty Ferry, Dundee. Relatives are aware and a report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal. Following a post mortem examination the death is being treated as murder. Detective Chief Inspector Allan Burton said: “Officers have been conducting door-to-door enquiries and we are gathering and reviewing CCTV footage to gain additional information as part of this ongoing investigation."
