LISTEN: Alexandria mum reveals heartache and guilt after son's suicide
A charity football match has been organised in memory of Lee.
An Alexandria mum is urging young men to open up about their feelings as she battles to come terms with her son's suicide.
Lizzie Stuart's son Lee was just 17 years old when he took his own life ten weeks ago.
She says there were no signs that her son was depressed or was having suicidal thoughts.
Lee's friends have organised a charity football match for this weekend in his memory, raising money for both SOBS (Survivors Of Bereavement By Suicide) and CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
The match will be held on Sunday afternoon at Millburn Park where there will be a raffle and an auction for a variety of different prizes.
Admission to the charity match is free but donations can be made there.
Lizzie said: "Being a mum you expect to know if there's something up with your child. You expect to notice if something's wrong with your child. You expect to see any kind of symptoms if anything's bothering him, if his nature changes, if he's feeling down.
"We were friends. He was really always open and he had me wrapped round his finger - he would come to me if he was wanting anything.
"There was absolutely nothing - and my guilt after that was I felt like I had failed him."
