More than £1 million worth of drugs recovered in Muirhead and Bothwell
A 40 year-old man has been arrested

Police have recovered more than one million pounds’ worth of drugs from a car in Muirhead and a house in Bothwell.
Officers from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit stopped a car on Cumbernauld Road on Tuesday evening, where a quantity of drugs – believed to be Amphetamine – was found.
A second operation took place at a property in Bothwell where substances believed to be Diamorphine and mixing agents were recovered.
Police say the estimated street value of the drugs is £1,100,000.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in police custody in connection with the incidents.
