Mourners asked to wear pink for Alesha's funeral
Mourners have been asked to wear pink for the funeral of six-year-old Alesha MacPhail.
Alesha, who lived in Airdrie, was found dead on the Isle of Bute on Monday, July 2.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with her rape and murder.
He made his second court appearance on Friday and made no plea.
MacGregor Family Funeral Directors have now announced the arrangements for Alesha's funeral on Saturday on Facebook:
A message posted on Facebook read: "Alesha's family would welcome and be comforted by the attendance of anyone affected by this tragedy who wish to pay their final respects.
"We ask that the community show their support and help the family through this tragedy and through this very difficult day in their lives.
"Mum and Dad have requested that everyone wears something pink.
She'll be laid to rest at Coltswood Cemetary in Coatbridge.
