Motorcyclist seriously injured after M8 crash in Glasgow
It happened at lunchtime today
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the M8 in Glasgow.
The incident happened near Junction 13 westbound around 1.40pm on Thursday, 24 August.
The 62-year-old male rider of a motorcycle, the only vehicle involved, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. His condition is described as critical.
Police Constable Gordon McAvoy, based at the Roads Policing Unit in Glasgow said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances of this collision.
“I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any dash cam footage to come forward.
“Please call 101, quoting reference 1829 of 24 August.”
