Motorcyclist in critical condition following crash in Glasgow's East End
It happened on Westmuir Street around 11.10pm yesterday - the driver of a van was not injured
A motorcyclist's fighting for his life in hospital after a late night crash with a van in the east end of Glasgow.
It happened on Westmuir Street just after 11 last night.
The 29-year-old man's condition is described as critical - the driver was not hurt.
A Police Scotland spokeperson said: "At around 11.10pm on Friday 25th Sepetember, we received a report of a serious crash involving a van and a motorbike on Westmuir Street at the junction of Hart Street around.
"The 29-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he is described as critical.
"The driver of the van was not injured. The road was closed for five hours."
"Enquiries are continuing."
