Mother charged with murder of her baby granted bail

The mother charged with murdering her baby girl in Glasgow has been granted bail after her second court appearance.
26 year old Sadia Ahmed is accused of killing Inayah Ahmed on April 17, at a house on Bernisdale Drive, Drumchapel.
She is accused of “restricting her breathing by means presently unknown” and murdering her.
The woman appeared in private from custody for a full committal hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court where she was represented by lawyer Aamer Anwar.
Ahmed made no plea or declaration and was granted bail by sheriff Ian Miller.
She is expected to appear at the High Court at a later date.
Baby Inayah was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children but tragically died three days later on April 20.
