Police in Glasgow are renewing an appeal for information to help trace Florence Brooke who has been missing since yesterday.

The 25-year-old was reported missing on Monday, 30 May from the Springburn area.

Enquiries have revealed she took a number 75 bus from Springburn and got off at 5.31pm on Monday on Renfrew Street at the junction with Cambridge Street.

She then walked east in the direction of Buchanan Street Bus Station but officers are working to establish where she went after that.

Inspector Derrick Johnston of Maryhill Police Station said:

“We remain very concerned for Florence’s welfare and officers are carrying out searches and enquiries to trace her as soon as possible to ensure that she is safe and well.

“I would ask anyone who believes they may have seen her or spoken to her at any time since she was last seen to get in touch urgently.”

Florence is described as white, around 5ft 2ins in height and of medium build with brown curly hair and wearing glasses.

When she was last seen she was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans and mustard trainers. She was also carrying a satchel with an owl motif.

Anyone who has seen Florence, or who has any information on her whereabouts should contact police as soon as possible through 101, quoting reference 2542 of 30 May.
