Concern is growing for a mother and daughter last seen at a Glasgow hospital.

Rodica and Jamaica Rezmives were last seen outside the entrance of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, near the Marks and Spencer, at around 10.50am on Tuesday as they spoke to another family member.

When the family member returned from collecting a car, the 43-year-old had left with the child and the pair have not been seen or heard from since.

Ms Rezmives - who has links with Glasgow, Manchester, France and Romania - was wearing a blue jacket, a scarf, a black skirt with white on it, red and white trainers and had a blue Tommy Hilfiger bag.

Four-year-old Jamaica was wearing a black jacket and white scarf.

Officers are now appealing for information about their disappearance and are in the process of accessing CCTV footage.

Inspector Michelle Grant said: Our concern for Rodica and Jamaica is growing and we are liaising with family and friends for any information which could lead us to locating them.

Jamaica is with her mother but we want to know they are both safe and well.

If anyone has any information or knowledge as to their whereabouts, please contact police and pass the information on.

If Rodica hears this appeal, please contact us so that we know you and Jamaica are okay.'
