Body found in search for missing Greenock woman
Police were called to reports of a body at 9.30pm last night.
A body has been found in the search for missing Angela Millar.
At around 9:30pm on Friday 24 May 2019, police received a report of a woman's body being found at Meikleross bay, Roseneath. The death is still being treated as unexplained.
A formal identification has still to take place, however officers believe it to be 44 year old Angela Millar, who has been missing from Greenock since Monday 20 May 2019. Her family has been informed.
A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course, however the death does not appear to be suspicious.
