Missing Woman's Body Found
A body has been found in water during the search for a woman missing for almost two weeks. Pamela McDonald, 26, had not been seen since February 13 in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. Her disappearance was described as out of character and concerns were raised for her safety as she used daily medication. A body was discovered in water close to Calderbank Road in Airdrie at around 1pm today and officers have confirmed it is that of the 26-year-old. Her family have been informed. A post mortem is to be held and officers are treating the death as unexplained.
