Officers are continuing to appeal for help to trace a 13-year-old girl reported missing in Paisley who has travelled to the Irvine area.

Jamie-Lee Harvie was seen boarding a train at Paisley and alighting at Irvine train station about 5.30pm on Sunday, 17 March, 2024.

Enquiries so far have established that she was at a property in the Muir Drive area of Irvine around 2pm on Tuesday, 19 March, and in Jermond Drive around 2.30pm on Thursday, 22 March.

She may also have visited other properties in the Martin Avenue and Sloan Avenue areas of Irvine and Highfield area in Kilwinning.

Jamie-Lee is described as around 5ft 2ins, of medium build with long dark hair and a fair complexion.

When seen at Irvine station she was wearing a cream puffer style jacket, a black jumper, black leggings and black and white converse trainers.

Area Commander Chief Inspector Fraser Normansell said: “Jamie-Lee has been reported missing before but she has not been in touch for some time now and concerns are growing for her welfare. It is important that we find her to ensure she is safe and well.

“Our enquiries suggest she is still in the Irvine area and we are asking people when they are out and about to keep an eye out for her and let us know if you think you have seen her.

“We are also asking anyone who might know where Jamie-Lee is to get in touch.”
