Man, 53, arrested in connection with disappearance of Scots schoolgirl

A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of an 11-year-old girl in the Borders.
According to police, the youngster - who was reported missing on Sunday - was traced at a property "in the Galashiels area" around 9.30pm last night (Monday).
Officers say enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
It comes as police have sealed off a street in Gattonside, near Melrose, where men in forensic-style suits have been seen searching an upmarket property.
