Appeal to help find missing Paisley teenager Karisse Lavelle

The 18-year-old was last seen on Thursday evening

People in Paisley are being asked to help police with sightings of 18-year-old Karisse Lavelle who has gone missing.

Karisse was last seen in the Beech Avenue area around 6.50pm on Thursday, 22 July, and has not been seen or heard of since. There is growing concern for her welfare.

Sergeant Matt Richardson of Paisley police station said: “Along with her family, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Karisse’s welfare and are keen to locate her as soon as possible.

Karisse has links across Renfrewshire

“She is known to visit the Johnstone and Barrhead areas as well as having links in Paisley. We would urge anyone who may have seen Karisse to contact us. Similarly, if Karisse is reading this, let us know you are safe and well.”

Karisse is described as being 5ft 4ins tall of medium build, a fair complexion with long brown hair and brown eyes.

At the time she went missing Karisse was wearing a black hooded top, black leggings and white Converse trainers.
