Police helicopter searching for missing man in Dumbarton

A police helicopter is searching the area around Dumbarton this morning for a missing man.

Norman Campbell, 54, was last seen in Clydebank last Thursday.

Officers now think he may have been near the Rock Bowling Club on Castle Road in Dumbarton on Monday.

Norman is described as being 5ft 8in tall, of medium build with short dyed blonde hair and a Rangers tattoo on his right arm.

Inspector Bart Simonis, of Dumbarton Police Station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Norman’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact police."
